Chain Camera Pictures is a Los Angeles-based company that produces critically acclaimed documentaries for international theatrical and television release. Kirby Dick founded the company in 2001 with producer Eddie Schmidt, and together they made CHAIN CAMERA, SHOWGIRLS: GLITZ AND ANGST, THE END, TWIST OF FAITH, and THIS FILM IS NOT YET RATED. In 2006, Eddie Schmidt moved on to produce and direct his own projects. In 2007, Amy Ziering, who produced and co-directed DERRIDA with Dick, joined the company as the producer of OUTRAGE and THE INVISIBLE WAR.

Chain Camera Pictures has sold films in the U.S. and abroad to HBO, PBS, Magnolia Pictures, IFC Films, Zeitgeist Films, Cinemax, IFC TV, the Sundance Channel, Zeitgeist Films, the BBC, Channel 4, Canal Plus, and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

AMY ZIERING - PRODUCER
Amy Ziering is an Emmy Award nominated and award winning Los Angeles producer and director. Her most recent film, THE INVISIBLE WAR, a groundbreaking investigation into the epidemic of rape within the US armed forces, won the Audience Award at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. OUTRAGE is a searing indictment of the hypocrisy of closeted politicians that actively campaign against the LGBT community they covertly belong to. Ziering’s previous release, THE MEMORY THIEF, which she produced, stars Mark Webber (BROKEN FLOWERS, DEAR WENDY, STORYTELLING) and Rachel Miner (BULLY). Ziering also co-directed and produced DERRIDA, a documentary about the world-renowned French philosopher. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, won the Golden Gate award at the San Francisco Film Festival, and was released theatrically by Zeitgeist Films. Prior to that, Ziering produced Richard Cohen’s TAYLOR’S CAMPAIGN, a documentary about a homeless person running for the mayor of Santa Monica.  

TANNER BARKLOW - PRODUCER
Tanner Barklow is an Emmy nominated Los Angeles based producer. His most recent film, THE INVISIBLE WAR, is a groundbreaking investigation into the epidemic of rape within the US armed forces, won the Audience Award at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Prior to that, he co-produced OUTRAGE, a searing indictment of the hypocrisy of closeted politicians that actively campaign against the LGBT community they covertly belong to. He studied at Harvard University and Bennington College in Vermont.

DOUG BLUSH - EDITOR
Doug Blush has worked in documentary filmmaking for over fifteen years as a director, editor, and director of photography. His editing credits include THE INVISIBLE WAR, which won the Audience Award at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, and OUTRAGE, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2009. His previous documentary editing credits include the crossword-culture hit WORDPLAY and the Academy-shortlisted national debt primer I.O.U.S.A., as well as the corporate David and Goliath exposé BEER WARS and the upcoming ventriloquism-themed DUMBSTRUCK. Doug is co-owner of MadPix, Inc., a production and post production company based in Los Angeles. He is currently co-editing the documentary adaptation of the best-selling book FREAKONOMICS, and co-directing OF TWO MINDS, a documentary feature on bipolar disorder with his wife Lisa.

BIL WHITE - DESIGN & ANIMATION
Bil White is a director and designer living in Santa Monica, California. He directs (and occasionally photographs and edits) television commercials, including sports, children, mixed-media, and animated commercials. He is also active in animation and title design for television and film, having created titles and animation for Kirby Dick's three most recent documentaries, THE INVISIBLE WAR, OUTRAGE, and THIS FILM IS NOT YET RATED, as well as numerous show opens and promotional campaigns. White’s clients include Nautilus, Easton Sports, ABC, DIY Network, Nickelodeon, Lipton, Earthlink, Lands' End, Mattel, HGTV, Tasters Choice, PETA, Callaway, the Newport Beach Film Festival, and he has worked with such luminaries as Jeremy Piven, Sammy Sosa, Wayne Brady, Kathy Najimy, Ernie Els, Dany Heatley and Judge Joe Brown.
